Mike Morgan has worked on several projects at Callaway Gardens. These projects include an update of the master plan along with several implementation projects. Mike worked as lead designer for the trail system, the Day Butterfly Center, and planting designs for the new Gardens entrance and two-mile entry drive, and the Discovery Center.

Trail phases I and II included master planning, design, and construction of approximately five miles of bicycle trails and bridges through a 1500-acre garden and preserve. The trails are a part of the overall master plan for the gardens and include many amenities such as benches, swings, overlooks and interpretive graphics. Mike also developed the Pine Mountain Trails Master Plan for the Pine Mountain Tourism Association. The goal of the Pine Mountain project is to link the town with the State of Georgia’s statewide bike system, Callaway Gardens, Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park, and other local tourist and business nodes.
