Parklands of Floyds Fork

Master plan for 4,000 acre greenway coursing through an 18-mile natural and agricultural valley in eastern Louisville. Using “Landscape Theater” as a guiding concept, the greenway magnifies unique aspects of the valley, from sensitive ecological areas to historic farmland, and the fork itself. Roadways and trails weave throughout the site affording access to four “parks within a park”, each with a distinct recreational program. (Ignacio performed this work with a previous firm.)
